I am Hip Hop Fashion 2013 Arfie lalani

 

 

When asked, "what inspires you to create" Arfie rarely fails to mention his love for hip hop and how the culture has raised him into who he is today. And so, as an "ode" to hip hop and a creative/visual answer to many similar questions of inspiration, Arfie Lalani created the "Iam hip hop fashion" campaign in 2013 in Montreal Qc, and made an avant garde dress made of pages from xxL magazine - greatest hip hop artists 1990-1999. These highlighted the highly influencial Hip Hop artists of the 90's who've inspired Arfie, and many others of his generation through Music, Fashion and Art.  Some artist names include that of, Tupac Shakur, The Notorious BIG, Jay Z, Nas, The Fugees, Wu-Tang Clan, Dr Dre, Lil Wayne & more.
